I’ve survived the first two weeks of P90X. 14 days. More than 15 hours of workouts. More protein than I usually consume in a three month period. How do I feel? Pretty good about myself. I think, with these kinds of extreme workout/diet programs, if you don’t bail out after a few days, you’re probably going to stick it out.

Am I getting results yet? I can’t tell. I feel differently. Each time I do a workout that I’ve done before, I perform better than the last time. I am better able to push myself to the next level, to choose heavier weights, go for more reps, and add intensity. Do I look much different? Not too much. I’ve lost 5lbs; most of which I assume was excess water weight from poor eating.

I’d say my face looks a little thinner, my arms slightly more defined, a little excess fat off the front. I’m encouraged to keep going forward. I want to see where this takes me. Will I see more results in another week? Another two weeks? Will I finally be driven over the edge and strangle the living crap out of Tony Horton? Will I go nuts from eating so much protein without even a single delicious treat? Will I eventually go homicidal because Tony Horton has mentioned cheeseburgers and Krispy Kreme for the 700th time when I am at my most desperate hour?
